Build upon the basics of understanding force and the effects that force has on objects.

Our presenter will start with the basics of ‘What is a force?’. Then students will get to take part in a number of different experiments to test theories of how forces work. Before finishing the show the audience will be shocked at our static demonstration which will make hair stick up. We will end the show by getting straight to the point…

To understand that forces have both a size (magnitude) and direction known as a vector.
To identify the effects that forces have on objects such as change direction and speed.
To understand that forces are measured in Newtons.
To apply Newtons Laws of Motion to their understanding of forces.
To understand that forces have different properties such as Friction and Air Resistance.
