LEGO Coding WeDo 1.0

Combine construction and coding to get your LEGO model to move.

With our We Do 1 kit we have two separate workshops available:

Roaring Lion:

A great introduction to coding using the LEGO WeDo software. Learners will explore how motion sensors and gears combine with code to bring the LEGO lion to life.

Coding Challenge:

In this activity we combine LEGO building with Scratch Coding to bring a sailing boat to life. Learners will first build a sailing boat using our LEGO WeDo1.0 kit. By using Scratch, learners will then animate their sail boats with the opportunity to create their own background scenes and costumes for sprites.

This activity is a perfect introduction to Scratch or for learners already familiar with Scratch with the added challenge of animating a physical model.

The sessions can be tailored to the ability levels of your learners allowing the sessions to engage all levels of learners.
