Xplore! took part in Kids in Museums Takeover Day!
Takeover Day is an awesome event where school children get to be the boss! The children have the opportunity of stepping into the shoes of adults.
Children get to experience the inner workings of the center firsthand. This unique initiative empowers young minds by giving them the chance to take charge of tasks ranging from greeting visitors to assisting with exhibits and demonstrations. It fosters confidence, responsibility, and a deeper understanding of the STEM fields that Xplore! celebrates. By participating in Takeover Day, students gain valuable insights into teamwork and leadership while enjoying a fun, hands-on opportunity to imagine their future careers in an inspiring setting.
