Xplore! Science Discovery Centre is thrilled to announce our inaugural STEM Skills Fair, taking place on March 28th and 29th, and we’re looking for stallholders in the Space and Advanced Manufacturing sectors to join us at this exciting two-day event, sponsored by Space Wales and the Royal Air Force. This is a fantastic opportunity to connect with the next generation of innovators and inspire future professionals in these cutting-edge fields.

Day 1: Engaging with KS3 Students

On Day 1, we’ll welcome 240 KS3 students from local secondary schools for an action-packed day of hands-on activities, engaging discussions, and inspiring demonstrations. The goal is to spark the interest of young minds and give them a closer look at the incredible potential of careers in Space and Advanced Manufacturing. This is your chance to engage directly with students, provide insights into your industry, and share how their skills and passion can lead them to a fulfilling future in these high-tech sectors.

Day 2: Inspiring the Wider Public

Day 2 will open the doors to the wider public, including families from Wrexham and beyond, providing a unique opportunity to showcase the Space and Advanced Manufacturing industries to a diverse audience. Over 200 visitors will have the chance to explore hands-on activities, discover exciting career opportunities, and learn more about your company’s impact in these growing industries. This is a great way to build excitement and foster interest in STEM careers, while also highlighting job vacancies and potential pathways for future talent.
